These are other characters that have a roll in the drama. I come to find, that these robed horses and their riders are my least favorite part. These are the torreros, they have these bright pink flags that the bull runs through!

The ladies in white get to vote on the performance of the matador. If he did well, he gets one white handkerchief which signifies that he gets the ear of the bull as his trophy. If he did a magnificent job, he gets 2 white handkerchiefs which means that the tail of the bull is his trophy for the day.

The bull is up against our matador on his horse. The horse and rider ran in circles for a bit to tire the bull out, and then the torreros started to act their part.
