This was my favorite part, where the torreros and the bull interacted because they moved their flag, just like the movies and the bull ran through it... just like the movies. I'm sure this requires much more effort on the part of the torrero, but it was pretty neat.
And so ends my picture taking. if you look closely at the picture above, the horse wrapped in cloth is there. This is because the torreros led the bull to the horse where the very angry bull attacked the brightly colored outfit the horse was wearing and the horse's rider stabed the bull in what I can only imagine to be right between his shoulder blades with a lance. I asked the guy behind us why he did this and recieved the reply "para bajar la fuerza que tiene el toro" (in order to lower the force of the bull) to weaken the bull. To me this part was so obviously unfair, and it made the bull bleed which I was not ready for. Then the torreros took over agian this time with decorated lances. I'll call them lances i'm not sure what they were, they were the size of a sword wraped in sparkly pinata paper with hooks on the end. each torrero had a turn and had to stab the bull with 2 lances. They further injured the bull and the remained in his skin. I'm happy to say that the bull chased one of the torreros to the side of the stadium and the guy had to jump the wall to safety. Finally, the matador on the horse came out and ran in such tight circles that he was able to touch the bull's horns with his hands. Then he pulled out a sword and stabbed the bull. The bull died and the ladies did not give the matador any handkerchiefs. The bull was then pulled out of the stadium and something odd happened. Another highly decorated man came into the stadium.
