Hola a todos,
Today felt like a super long day. I ran at ten with my friend Missy and it was really really hard because of all the hills here! (and she is way faster than me!) At 1 I had my first class in Spain, its cervantes. Cervantes was an author from Spain who is still famous today for his book the Quijote. He was born in alcala de heneres which is another city near madrid. My class got out at 2 and I had to run home to eat lunch (at least a 20 min walk) in my heels. My next class, spanish civilizations looks like it will be amazing. Apparently all we do in that class is walk around segovia and learn the history of everything. I think it will be like paying for a 6 week guided tour! In that class we have two assignments and a test. One is to write about somewhere in spain that we went and why it matters to spanish culture (ie toledo). and the other is to keep some kind of daily journal so that eventually when we come home we have something to look back on. I'm going to ask her if this blog is something I can use for my assignment. In the picture today is the aquaduct. I realized that i hadn't put one up yet. It is amazing and I'm so lucky because I get to walk underneath it every day on the way to school! I don't know if this is the best picture of it though because today was rainy and overcast and mostly gross. Anyway its like 1 in the morning and I have to go to bed! I love you all.
