Studying before clase! This is one of the super modern room in our school. I'm still amazed that it was built in the 12th century, and that it can contain rooms like this! back in walk around segovia class, we visited many of the churches of segovia. Our teacher told us that all of the parks in segovia once were holy places. I found this park gorgeous.

I don't quite remember where this picture was from, I know it isn't a church. I chose it to post on the blog because I think its lovely.

This is the iglesia de san martin which is near the plaza mayor and next door neighbors with the public library, which in another lifetime was the prison of segovia. Lope de Vega (a very famous author) was imprisoned in this jail in segovia at one point!


This plaque has the symbol of segovia, it was developed hundreds of years ago and appears everywhere. Its strange though, you have to look for it to find it on these old buildings
