On our way to the hotel (in the city of suances, not santillana del mar) we stopped at the cuevas de altimara, the oldest caves discovered in europe. We went into the museum and walked through an exact replica of the caves which was amazing. We were not able to take pictures inside the caves, but I bought a postcard and bookmark at the museum store. In the photo below, Missy and I in front of the scenery.
